Jim Sudal’s vibrant new exhibit environment with an on-site working studio in Downtown Scottsdale’s Arts District reflects his passion for desert plant forms, colors, and shapes.

“In the world of ceramics a Jim Sudal piece is a distinct and innovative art form and visitors won’t see anything like it in another gallery,” says Elaine McGinn, Desert Botanical Garden director of exhibits.

The working gallery space allows Jim to display his one-of-a-kind, large format ceramic murals alongside his popular botanical relief tiles and desert inspired home décor and gift items. Visitors to the studio can immerse themselves in Jim’s stoneware garden, see him working at his craft, peruse his portfolio of custom installations, and shop from a selection of his latest work.

The gallery’s desert botanical designs range from terracotta or stoneware relief tiles that sell for $65 - $650 to pots, benches, and wall murals that sell for thousands of dollars. Each piece is handcrafted and signed and no two pieces are exactly alike. The artwork displayed in the gallery constantly changes and evolves.
